I took over 500 shots during my last visit to YSP.
The ones I like the most were taken inside the hive. They are dark and claustrophobic, ambiguous and a bit creepy.

- I am an artist based in Preston, UK. The Bee Project is now finished. This blog documents a year long research residency at Yorkshire Sculpture Park that started in spring 2010. I looked at honeybees, native bumblebees, solitary bees and plant species on the Bretton Estate and the resulting artwork was displayed in the Garden Gallery at YSP in spring 2011.
